Perhaps no rescue story better exemplifies the work done every day at Poodle Rescue of Houston than that of a miniature poodle named “Kaylee”. Kaylee was sick, starving and terrified, living in a field under a bundle of railroad ties behind a business.
A “Good Samaritan” caught the abandoned dog with a wild animal trap and brought her to a public animal shelter. PRH Director Guinnette Peebles retrieved her and inducted her into the our adoption program. The attached photos document the amazing transformation of Kaylee from one of society's neglected creatures into a wonderfully happy and attractive pet that has gone to a great home and the life she deserves.
